Topeka: Melissa Leach, Manager for Kansans for Life Political Action Committee (KFL PAC) issued the following statement after the Wyandotte County Board of Canvassers certified that Aaron Coleman (D-Kansas City) defeated longtime incumbent Stan Frownfelter (D-Kansas City) in the Democratic Primary for Kansas House District 37. Frownfelter has now launched a write-in campaign for November. KFL PAC has endorsed Kristina Smith (R-Kansas City) who is also running a write-in campaign.

“Democratic House Candidate Aaron Coleman not only publicly wished COVID-19 on others, cyber bullied teenage girls through revenge porn, but clearly declared support for abortion up to the moment of birth,” stated Melissa Leach on behalf of KFL PAC. “The sad truth is that every Democrat in the 2020 Kansas Legislature voted against the Value Them Both Amendment to the Kansas Constitution. By doing so, Stan Frownfelter (D-Kansas City), Barbara Bollier (D-Mission Hills), Jeff Pittman (D-Kansas City), Kathy Wolfe Moore (D-Kansas City), Tim Hodge (D-Newton) and the rest have voting records that reflect the extremist, unlimited abortion position that Coleman embraces.

Kristina Smith is the clear choice in House District 37 and we encourage every voter in that district to write-in her name on their ballots on or before November 3rd.”
