Wichita, Kansas, May 2, 2022 – Kansans for Life Political Action Committee (KFL PAC) is proud to release endorsements and recognitions for select races in the August 2, 2022, Republican primary races. More endorsements and recognitions will be released in coming weeks.

Kansas Attorney General:

  • Kansas Senator Kellie Warren (R-Leawood) and former Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R-LeCompton)

The current Attorney General, Derek Schmidt (R-Independence), is seeking to unseat the most pro-abortion Governor in state history, Laura Kelly.

“With abortion extremists attacking pro-life laws in Kansas, the race for attorney general has never been more important,” said Kristina Smith, KFL PAC Director. “Kellie Warren has been a steady champion for the VALUE THEM BOTH Amendment and Kris Kobach has a long history with our movement. Pro-life Kansans and those we seek to protect must continue to have a voice in the Attorney General’s Office.”

KFL PAC recognizes and thanks former U.S. Attorney Tony Mattivi (R-Topeka) for his public pro-life stance and support of the VALUE THEM BOTH Amendment.

Kansas Secretary of State:

  • Secretary of State Scott Schwab (R-Overland Park)

KFL PAC has consistently prioritized supporting pro-life incumbents. Scott Schwab has a 100% pro-life record during his time as Secretary of State and his 14 years in the legislature.

“Voting rights and election integrity are deeply connected to prolife issues,” said Smith, “With the mainstream media’s open bias toward the abortion industry and its goal to unleash unlimited abortion, fair elections are critical to the fight for life. Sec. Schwab’s 100% pro-life record shows that those who value both women and babies will have a friend in the Secretary of State’s Office.”

KFL PAC recognizes and thanks former Johnson County Commissioner Mike Brown (R-Olathe) for his public pro-life stance and support of the VALUE THEM BOTH Amendment.

Kansas State Treasurer:

  • State Senate Caryn Tyson (R-Parker) and Representative Steven Johnson (R-Assaria)

The current State Treasurer Lynn Rogers (D-Wichita) is an abortion industry ally.

“Both Caryn Tyson and Steven Johnson have solid pro-life records and will serve the people of Kansas well in the State Treasurer’s Office,” said Smith. “Lynn Rogers has a long record of supporting extreme abortion policies. It is time for his tenure in the Treasurer’s office to end.”

Chairman of the Johnson County Board of Commissioners:

  • Johnson County Commissioner Charlotte O’Hara (R-Overland Park) and former Kansas Insurance Commissioner Ken Selzer (R-Leawood)

County Commission races in Johnson County have been deemed “non-partisan,” with the top two vote-getters in the August 2nd primary advancing to the general election in November. The current board chair is not seeking re-election.

“With pro-life issues taking center stage at every level, having pro-life representation at county and municipal levels are key,” said Smith. “Charlotte O’Hara and Ken Selzer have shown they will listen to the real needs of Johnson County residents and weigh decisions with a pro-life mindset.”
