Topeka: Melissa Leach, Manager for Kansans for Life Political Action Committee issued the following statement after State Representative Michael Capps (R-Wichita) released content claiming support for his bid for re-election.
“Representative Capps is fully aware that neither KFL nor KFL PAC is supporting his bid for re-election,” stated Leach. “This attempt to mislead voters underscores his reported public scandals and showcases why pro-lifers cannot trust him.”
While KFL PAC has acknowledged Capps’ support for the Value Them Both Amendment to the Kansas Constitution, Republican challenger Patrick Penn is the endorsed candidate.
“KFL PAC is proud to endorse Patrick Penn for Kansas House District 85,” Leach continued. “He has strong pro-life values and will fight to protect both women and their babies. Claims and political games attempting to claim the opposite are simply false.”
